I've had this comment kahuna for quite sometime now but haven't installed it yet. It seems reading thru here that im missing a lot so its time for me to take action on this. Have to install this now right away. Thanks guys for this great info.

Lurking around I read in a forum about the issue that it cant recognize the nofollow or dofollow thing but as I heard a link is still a link so either its a dofollow or a no follow in the long run it will help out.

Im still learning a lot in this. You can correct me if im wrong. Still trying to figure out how to increase my rank in the serps.

I agree. It's not perfect, but it still improves my ranking as well so it's good enough for me. :)
cheers

Say what you want, since I've been using comment kahuna I've seen improvement in SERPs for several websites and my backlink counts are steadily rising.

When the next Google PR update happens, I'm expecting to see improvement there as well.

Sure, it's got it's quirks, like thinking a blog is do follow simply because there aren't any comments it can find to check for nofollow but it's still been extremely useful to me. Who knows, perhaps a future build will include being able to spot that problem and flag a blog with "?" to let the user know it can't tell.

@Africa News -

Yeah, it's not bad. Although one thing I'm not crazy about it that it sometimes picks up blog posts that don't have comments yet and thinks this means, because it doesn't see a "nofollow" , that the blog doesn't use one. Kind of a false positive when there's no comments on the post yet.

This tool is a life saver. Have been using it for some months now and it works great in building more back links for PR.
