I’m Moving … Sorry For Any Unexpected Outages

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know I’ve been in the process of moving my website to a new host and unfortunately I messed up a few things the other day and as a result you may have encountered a few broken links in the course. I apologize for any frustration. I’m pretty sure they’re all fixed now so things should be good to go.

Just an additional heads up … I’m expanding the course website significantly so you can expect some big things in about a month on the course site (including some very cool ways for you to make money simply by telling people about this free course :) ).

Also, this blog is going to move sometime near the end of next week. There are a number of reason for the move

  1. I want to consolidate the page rank building efforts by placing my blog under the same domain as my website (www.longtailtreasure.com)
  2. I’m switching to WordPress as my blog engine. There are many reasons for doing this, not the least of which is the flexibility of hosting it on my own website and having access to modify the internals
  3. WordPress also has the ability to use track-backs in my blog posts. If you have no idea what this means no worries, the next lesson I’m about to ship is on blogging and will cover it

As I just said, the next lesson (lesson 8) on blogging is near completion. It will cover a lot of material specific to blogging for marketing so keep your eyes open for it as it’s almost ready to go out the door.

Oh, one last thing, if you subscribed to the RSS feed for this blog you shouldn’t have to worry when the blog moves. Since the RSS feed was burned by feedburner the feed will move with the blog so your rss reader should continue to pick up the blog as normal.

cheers
